Calling all volunteers!
In a joint effort with the Housing & Health Block Party, Habitat for Humanity is leading neighborhood beautification and repair activities on Saturday, 9/28
There are 3 volunteer opportunities. No experience or tools are required to participate.
- Home repairs: 9am – 4pm, painting and light carpentry repairs
- Playhouse Builds: 8am – 4pm, constructing and painting 2 playhouses for children at local shelters
- Neighborhood cleanup – 9am – 1pm, light raking, sweeping, debris pickup, Family friendly
Volunteers must be 18 years old or older to participate in Home repairs and Playhouse builds. Younger volunteers with adult supervision are welcome to participate in Neighborhood cleanup. All activities are within walking distance of the Block Party.
