Turn Back Time is an outdoor farm and nature program whose mission is to help individuals recognize nature's ability to teach and heal. Our 58 acre property boasts a working farm and extensive trail system. Projects for "Day of Caring" include farm cleanup, garden maintenance and trail maintenance.
We provide some tools but if volunteers want to bring rakes, gloves and other landscape/ garden equipment that would be helpful.
A list of projects include.
- Prepare for Fairy Fest by clearing back garden called butterfly grove
- Create Plantings between the yurts and the Cabins ( tools required Shovels, rakes and loppers)
- Create a new trail to Izzy Island (Trail Blazing tools required: gloves, rakes, brush mower, loppers)
- Garden weeding and cleanup for fall (Tools required Gloves, shovels, rakes)
- General Farm Chores ( spread mulch, barn cleanup, outdoor kitchen cleanup)
- Office Flooring installed (Remove Furniture from office and lay sheet linoleum flooring)
- Powerwash inside of the barn (Tools required safety glasses we have a power washer)
- Welcome garden chicken coop, cut a hole in the shed to create nesting boxes and roosting pole. (Individuals will assist Miss Beth in creating a new coop to protect our chickens)
- Repair geodome create a center pole for structural support and repair plastic covering. (Individuals must be comfortable on a ladder)
