It's time to celebrate all of our amazing supporters, families and our community with the Annual Holiday Event at the farm! Please join us to help us celebrate a year of outdoor fun and to support us in giving back to the families that are part of our community throughout the year. Registration for attendees is free and includes entry into the event and crafts in the barn, we always have some special activities to celebrate the season!
We need volunteers (appx 10) to help us run the event. Hours would be from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. We also need several volunteers to work the Friday before to help set up.
In Kind Donations Requested:
- Supplies for our free craft activities for the day of the event. Items include Easy to assemble nature crafts, ornaments that can be decorated
- Items to sell on our mobile farm stand at the event and throughout the holiday season. Items include small gifts that can be purchased by families to be enjoyed at home. Ginger bread houses, cookie kits, hot cocoa mugs, small holiday baskets, ornaments and craft options to be completed at home.
- Food for purchase to be cooked on an open fire the day of the event. Hot cider, Hot Cocoa, plates, hot cups napkins, bottled water, popcorn, smores kits, hotdogs, buns and chips, bakery items like cider donuts or cookies.
- In Kind Donations to be used in our outdoor nature program that runs year round. Hand warmers, toe warmers, paint brushes of any kind, shaving cream, markers, crayons, paints, glue sticks, pipe cleaners, pony beads, sharpies, tissue paper, multi media paper, Tacky glue, bees wax, fire starters and plastic globe ornaments.
- Larger items to be used in our program: picnic tables (4), heavy bench for outdoor play, small classroom table and chairs (child size) classroom table Natural plastic stackable chair and 3 plexiglass light panels Tickit brand. Light panel
- Cash donations for our giving tree to help feed the animals throughout the winter.
