CMHA is looking for volunteers to support our Donations Clearinghouse (DCH).
The DCH provides gently used furniture and housewares to individuals and families in need within our community. Our goal is to help ease the financial burden that comes with setting up a new home while creating a sense of comfort, stability, and belonging as families transition into their own space.
We are hoping volunteers can help with:
- Organizing and tidying the Donations Clearinghouse space
- Sorting and preparing donated items
- Giving furniture and other pieces some care and attention to bring them back to life
- Helping create a welcoming and organized space for families receiving support
This is a great opportunity for volunteers to make a tangible difference in the lives of people in our community by helping turn donated items into something meaningful for a new home.
