As the holiday season approaches, we want to remind you of our homeless pets. They have no voice to ask for your help themselves.
We also have a pet food pantry that is helping to keep pets in homes and out of shelters in the first place. Your support would mean the world to us.
Our goal is to make sure that nobody has to make the choice between feeding themselves or feeding their pet. Many will forgo picking up their prescriptions to ensure their pet is fed. Your help can make sure that they never have to make that choice.
Our goal is to make sure that no pet goes hungry and that we keep as many in their homes. For those that still need the support of the shelter we need your help in supplies to care for them while they are here until we can find a new loving home for them. The biggest expense for our shelter pets is their medical care as we are seeing more and more come in from high-risk shelters, animal controls etc. that need surgeries and we are their only hope.
How can you help?
Host a Collection Drive: Engage your employees, business associates, group or club, family, or community organization to collect donations of much needed supplies for our shelter pets and food for our pet food pantry.
Much needed supply items Include: Copy paper, toilet paper, used clean towels, lint rollers (for removing pet hair and lint from surgical drapes), gloves, trash bags (tall kitchen and contractor are most needed), Canned and dry cat and kitten food (that is one of the most needed items in the pantry), gallon sized Ziplock bags, mailing labels (30 to a page size), dry erase markers, postage stamps, raffle or auction items for events.
