Who We Are – El Buen Samaritano (EBS) El Buen Samaritano is a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing food insecurity in Worcester, Massachusetts. Since our founding in 1991, we have served the community through emergency food distribution, wellness initiatives, and compassionate outreach rooted in dignity, faith, and service. For more than three decades, EBS has supported thousands of families with fresh food, culturally relevant groceries, hygiene essentials, and wraparound resources. Our work continues to grow through strong partnerships, volunteer engagement, and a commitment to building healthier, more equitable communities across Worcester County.

What We Do – El Buen Samaritano (EBS) El Buen Samaritano provides essential food assistance, wellness support, and community resources to families across Worcester. Through our weekly food pantry, mobile food distributions, home-delivery program, and seasonal wellness events, we ensure that children, seniors, and working families have access to nutritious food and basic necessities. Our work goes beyond food. We offer hygiene kits, youth engagement activities, back‑to‑school support, and connections to partner agencies that help families stabilize and thrive. Every program is designed to be welcoming, culturally responsive, and rooted in dignity and compassion. For more than 30 years, EBS has been a trusted community anchor—meeting urgent needs while building long-term pathways to health, stability, and hope.
