Who We Are
The ALS Association's mission is to make ALS livable until we cure it. Founded in 1985, the ALS Association is the only national non-profit organization fighting ALS on every front.
What We Do
We work to achieve our mission by funding three pillars: Research, Care Services & Advocacy. We are boots on the ground in all 50 states providing direct care to folks impacted by ALS. We fund over 200 research projects actively working towards a cure to ALS.
The funds raised through the Ride to Defeat ALS program go to help support our mission.
